When: Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What: Join our upcoming language access training on Note-Taking for Interpreters to learn simple and effective ways to improve your consecutive interpretation skills by optimizing your notes (no matter whether you’ve adopted a specific method of note-taking or are developing your own). You will learn ways to break down spoken communication to understand and retain it better. You'll also identify some of the peculiarities and idiosyncrasies of your own memory and attention when listening to spoken communication as well as shortcuts and symbols for faster note-taking.

Trainer: Mr. Carlos Radillo is an instructor at the National Center for Interpretation at the University of Arizona. Mr. Radillo is a Spanish interpreter based in California. He is both state and federally certified as a court interpreter.
